Senior Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POCs) for PTC tools.

• Understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.

• Support the sales team with technical documentation and solution positioning.

• Deploy and configure PTC products as per customer use cases.

• Deliver training and enablement sessions to users.

• Resolve technical issues and ensure successful product adoption.

• Continuously explore and learn new technologies like AR (Vuforia), IoT (ThingWorx), and Digital Twin solutions.

• Contribute to internal capability building on emerging tech.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• 4–8 years of relevant experience with PTC Creo and Windchill PLM.

• Strong understanding of product design processes, change management, and BOM structuring.

• Exposure to Mathcad, Vuforia, or ThingWorx is an added advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

• Willingness to travel for onsite implementation and training sessions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Design Engineers with hands-on CAD/PLM experience looking to transition into a solutioning/consulting role.

• Eager to learn and work with cutting-edge technologies in Digital Transformation, AR/VR, and IoT.
