Senior Application Engineer

As a Senior Application Engineer specializing in HVAC Unitary & Inverter Products, your primary role will involve managing technical processes, product development, and ensuring compliance with international standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Prepare work orders for standard and customized jobs, verify drawings, maintain job history, and process modification requests. - Generate BOM, Catalogues, IOM, Technical Data & Specification Sheets. - Evaluate SKM Selection Software and catalogue ratings. - Customize products based on customer requirements through Contract Review Form (CRF). - Drive product improvements and new developments for Unitary Products & Inverter Technology Products. - Provide technical support to Sales, Production, After-Sales, and assist with product certifications. - Review and optimize products during testing for qualification and certification. - Monitor and control multi-level BOM preparation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. - Experience: 3-5 years in HVAC application/design and product development in an AC manufacturing company. - Knowledge in HVAC Equipment Design, Testing & Diagnostics, Component Selection & Design, and HVAC Regulations & Standards. - Skills in HVAC product design and process improvement, testing & certification to regional/international standards, BOM preparation, component layout design, leadership, communication, and problem-solving. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, ERP systems is essential. In addition, preferred backgrounds for this role include: - Experience in HVAC manufacturing plants (not distributors or contractors). - Familiarity with ducted split systems, package units, inverter technology, and laboratory testing. - Knowledge of regional regulations such as ESMA, MoIAT, QCC, EWA, MEW, SASO.
