Senior Application Engineer

As a Senior Application Engineer at Emerson in the Middle East and Africa team, your primary role will involve utilizing your engineering skills and Fisher Software to develop engineering solutions for Control valves for both large EPC projects and provide regional MRO business support for clients and sales offices. You will be responsible for preparing techno-commercial offers, addressing technical queries, and ensuring project guidelines are met. Your key responsibilities include: - Understanding project guidelines and preparing quotes meeting customer requirements. - Clarifying technical specifications and project guidelines through conference calls with Sales office, impact partner, and FCEC senior engineering. - Reviewing project specifications and contributing to project guidelines formation. - Documenting LBP/Customer specific guidelines for quotations. - Preparing Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list, generating reports and drawings. - Corresponding with LBPs/Sales offices for clarifications and maintaining good understanding. - Providing support on project revisions from customers. - Supporting Sales office post issuance of PO and preparing transaction for order entry. - Providing technical support for OE/factory clarifications and assisting with change orders. - Monitoring RDSL, PDSL, Productivity & RFT performance for the sales/regional teams supported. - Analyzing RFQ scope & resource availability and committing to a deadline. - Handling internal training programs. - Being ready for Inhouse engineer support. - Handling all severe service applications. - Independently handling Quote to commit process. - Experienced in handling TBE meetings with customers independently. Qualifications required for this role include: - A degree in an engineering field. - In-depth knowledge and experience of control valves sizing & selection. - Good interpersonal and communication skills. - Awareness of internal and industry standards related to position responsibility. - Adequate understanding of project specifications and commercial terms. Optimizes work processes and improves performance metrics (Preferred). Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: - Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to pitch solutions for applications. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ready to take up new challenges. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in handling large projects and Inhouse engineering experience.
