As a Senior Application Engineer at Emerson, you will be a part of the Middle East and Africa team, utilizing your engineering expertise and Fisher Software to develop engineering solutions for Control valves. Your role will involve catering to large EPC projects, providing regional MRO business support for clients and sales offices, as well as preparing techno-commercial offers and addressing technical queries. Your key responsibilities will include understanding project guidelines to prepare quotes meeting customer requirements, clarifying technical specifications through conference calls, reviewing project specifications, preparing technical and commercial quotes, corresponding with LBPs/sales offices, supporting project revisions, offering technical support during OE/factory clarifications, maintaining records of work done, mentoring less experienced engineers, monitoring performance metrics, analyzing RFQ scope, handling internal training programs, and independently managing the Quote to commit process. To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in an engineering field, have profound knowledge and experience in control valves sizing & selection, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, awareness of internal and industry standards, and understanding of project specifications and commercial terms. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, willingness to take on new challenges, and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in handling large projects with inhouse engineering experience.
