Senior Application Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze customer process conditions (pressure, temperature, media, flow, corrosion, erosion) and recommend suitable valve types and materials.
• Perform valve sizing, selection, and technical evaluations based on international standards and customer specifications.
• Review P&IDs, data sheets, specifications, and bid documents.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to sales teams and customers.
• Develop customized valve solutions for complex and critical service applications.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) with application insights and field feedback.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams on special designs and deviations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as API, ASME, ISO, IEC, PED, ATEX, SIL, NACE, and fire-safe requirements.
• Support project execution teams with technical documentation, drawings, and calculations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 8 years of application engineering experience with good technical knowledge in Isolation valves and 3 years of trunnion mounted Ball valves experience is must.
• The candidates holding diploma in mechanical engineering must have minimum 10 years of Industrial valves experience and 5 years of trunnion mounted ball valves experience is required.
