About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer to manage end-to-end project execution—from engineering and vendor coordination to delivery, commissioning, and final handover. This role is focused on HVAC E&I systems for oil and gas projects and requires coordination with multiple internal teams and sub-vendors to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Engineering Phase: Manage detailed engineering of Electrical & Instrumentation systems (MCC, PLC, DDC panels, and field instruments) Review and finalize technical requirements based on client specifications and datasheets Lead design optimization and value engineering initiatives Prepare and validate E&I drawings: load lists, load schedules, SLDs, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, P&IDs, IO lists, cable schedules, and more Coordinate with sub-vendors for datasheets, technical offers, and equipment selection Participate in design reviews, hazardous area classification, and constructability studies Ensure compliance with codes such as IEC, NEC, ATEX, and with client standards (ADNOC, ARAMCO, etc.) Interface with other disciplines for integrated design Execution Phase: Coordinate internally for HVAC power load finalization and IO signal integration Support technical and commercial evaluation for vendor finalization Monitor and control sub-vendor activities, including document submission, procurement, FAT arrangements, and delivery follow-ups Arrange FAT with clients or third-party inspectors and manage punch list clearance Liaise with procurement and expedite PO release and material delivery Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Plan and oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning at site Follow up with vendors and commissioning teams for timely system handover Support SAT and compile final handover documentation Resolve technical queries during site execution promptly Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in E&I project engineering for oil & gas/HVAC systems Technical Skills: Strong understanding of control panels, field instrumentation, and hazardous area classification Experience in integrating HVAC control with DCS/ICSS/BMS systems Familiar with IEC, NEC, IEEE, ISA, API standards Previous exposure to clients such as ADNOC, ARAMCO, or similar AutoCAD proficiency is an added advantage Soft Skills: Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills Ability to multitask and manage tight project timelines A team player with a proactive and solution-oriented approach Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project phases
