The Senior Application Engineer - Business Development will be responsible for actively drives & manages technology engagement at early stages with End Users, Consultants, Technology driven solutions around key Industry verticals, Proof of Concepts, Cybersecurity Solution, Strategic and Tactical solution developments, evaluation and drive customer's technical preference at bidding stages of the sales process and ensure that our offered solutions are commercially leaner than competition. They are also addressed as Solution Architects who act as the customer's key technical adviser and solution advocate, while providing front line assistance to clients developing and deploying Automation and Controls solutions, vast portfolio of MAS, SYSS.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support Sales in establishing new business plan development and techno-commercial deployment. This is not a region-specific role but will be spread across India.
• Design and architect cybersecurity tools and solutions in process control systems.
• Work to understand and address our customers cybersecurity concerns, requirements and provide cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop Digital Transformation and IIoT based solutions with both hardware and software portfolio through new OEM's, End User and EPC Customers and Internal Emerson opportunities.
• Manage Customer Presentation & Demo activities, providing exceptional experience to customers. Work closely with sales team on a daily basis for solutions, implementation expertise & Proof of Concepts, BOM creation, Technical Consultation.
• Build strong technical skills on new developments on PLC platforms (Emerson RX3i, RSTi, VersaMax, etc), PAC Machine Edition, Movicon.NExT, RTU, Drives & Servo + Motion platforms at implementation level, advanced applications, Cybersecurity, machine learning and key solutions to drive value in overall solution offering.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed. Ability to work closely with customer to build confidence and solution development. Travelling need - 50% of the time.
• Work through all phases of customer interaction including customer analysis, solution design and implementation.

Who You Are:

You provide support to Sales team and work in close co-ordination with Business Development Leader. Engineering for new products Solution. You relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures, and geography.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as business development or engineering role in Industrial Automation knowledge is preferable
• Expert with RX3i PLC series, VersaMax,
• Expert with Movicon.NExT SCADA, MS SQL.
• Expert with Cybersecurity, IIoT and Digital Transformation.
• Experience of troubleshooting, site commissioning exposure and experience around supporting Channel partners on critical engineering, development or site related challenges & issue

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics / Instrumentation engineering.
