Job Description

Role:

Senior finance manager provides support to the business by ensuring the overall supervision of the company's day to day functioning of the Accounts and Finance functions including MIS, Audit, Taxation, Corporate affairs, etc. in compliance with the Indian / Singaporean Accounting Standards


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive process changes in the Finance area to ensure the provision of information to key business owners is more efficient.
  • Take lead in project finance control and operation matters
  • Serve as the business partner to Business Development, Sales, and Project teams.
  • Communicate forecast, trends, and Sales Incentive Plan
  • Manage team of xxx nos finance colleagues in India office and liase with offshore Country Managers for client billings, follow ups within their markets.
  • Responsibility to produce regulatory reports for regulated entities
  • Responsibility for ledger consolidated reporting Income and Expenses monthly
  • Responsible for preparation of Quarterly / half yearly and Annual Accounts and Finalization of Accounts of Group Companies and the Consolidated Accounts for the Company.
  • Dealing with Banks and Financial Institution for day to day matters besides providing all necessary support with the preparation of documents pertaining to all short-term and long-term credit facilities.
  • Examine financial documents to verify accuracy and adherence to regulations and acceptable financial principles
  • Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations


About you:

A successful Financial Manager needs to have excellent communication skills since they work closely with managers and other decision-makers. The Finance Manager will collaborate with the executive management team to analyse department finances and develop budgets that will keep the company’s costs down.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years’ experience in a financial management position
  • Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills


The success of this role will be measured by the organisations profit and loss accounting statements.
