Senior Accounting Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive – Accountant to manage the company’s accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in accounting standards, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly/yearly closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for financial transactions.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow to support financial planning and control.
• Assist in developing internal controls, policies, and procedures to improve financial efficiency.
• Support management in financial analysis, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Liaise with banks, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (Master’s or CA Inter preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Prior experience in [industry, e.g., Travel, Hospitality etc.] will be an added advantage.
