Senior Accounting Analyst

As a CFO at Envu in India, your main role will be to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, execute balance sheet reviews, assist in preparation of reporting packages, perform daily tasks such as journal entry preparation and support corporate accounting activities. You will collaborate with external auditors, monitor financial trends, liaise with stakeholders, adhere to regulatory requirements and support internal financial controls. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and other relevant reports. - Execute balance sheet reviews to ensure appropriate quality and timeliness of procedures in alignment with Envus accounting policies. - Assist in the preparation of reporting packages to comply with corporate financial reporting requirements and statutory regulations. - Perform daily tasks such as journal entry preparation, ledger maintenance, and monthly closing processes. - Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process. - Monitor and analyze financial trends to identify potential risks or opportunities. - Liaise with stakeholders across multiple departments to obtain necessary information and resolve issues related to accounting matters. - Assist with adherence to local regulatory requirements regarding tax compliance, labor laws, and corporate governance. - Support implementation and go forward maintenance of reconciliation software, as necessary. - Support the Global Controllership team in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls, procedures, and remediation plans. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or Finance), CPA/CA preferred. - 4-6 years of professional accounting experience with multi-national companies. - Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Strong IFRS and/or local country GAAP. - Experience working with financial systems such as Microsoft D365, or similar platforms knowledge. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Prior experience in a multinational company preferred. - Fluency in English.
