Job Description

Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee all accounting functions of our Head Office and branch offices across India. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and coordinate with branches to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial matters. Key Responsibilities & KRAs: A. Accounting & Financial Management: Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for HO and branches. Ensure timely posting of all transactions in accounting software. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. B. Branch Coordination: Consolidate branch accounts into HO financial statements. Ensure uniform accounting practices across all branches. C. Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns. Manage audits (internal, statutory, and tax audits) efficiently. Maintain compliance with all accounting and taxation laws. D. Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor expenses and suggest cost optimization measures. Prepare periodic MIS reports for management decision-making. Analyze variances and provide financial insights to the management. E. Process Improvement: Implement stronger accounting controls and SOPs. Automate repetitive processes wherever possible. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Tally ERP. In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Excellent coordination and communication skills (Hindi & English). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multi-location accounting operations. Qualification & Experience: Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred. Experience: 5–8 years in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role handling multiple locations. KRAs at a Glance: Accuracy of HO & branch financial statements. Timely statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, etc.). Zero audit queries or penalties. On-time monthly MIS reporting. Effective branch coordination and process standardization.
