Senior Account Executive

Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive Reports To: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts Experience: 4-7 Years Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing financial reports, and supporting management in strategic decision-making. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and coordinate with banks for financial transactions. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts. Maintain accounting controls and ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements. Provide financial insights to management for decision-making and business growth. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. 4–7 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliances. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, or similar) and MS Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
