Position: Senior SEO Executive

Experience: 4-6 years in SEO, including team handling

Salary: Up to ₹ 35,000 in-hand per month

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the SEO team: overseeing junior SEO executives / analysts, assigning tasks, monitoring their work and performance.

Develop, execute and monitor SEO strategies (on-page, off-page and technical) to improve organic traffic, search engine rankings and visibility.

Conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking and develop content optimisation plans.

On-page SEO: optimise website(s) for metadata (titles, descriptions, headers), internal linking, URL structure, schema markup, and landing pages.

Off-page SEO: oversee link-building campaigns, outreach, guest posting, citation management, backlink audits, and disavow where required.

Technical SEO: perform audits (crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile-usability, Core Web Vitals), collaborate with web/development team to implement needed fixes.

Monitor, analyse and report SEO performance (organic traffic, rankings, conversions, bounce-rate, etc.) using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs.

Stay updated with search-engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices; adapt strategy accordingly.

Collaborate with content team, web developers, design team and other stakeholders to ensure SEO is integrated across digital initiatives.

Train/develop team members, document SEO process and promote best-practices within the SEO function.

Requirements / Skills

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science or related).

4-6 years of hands-on experience in SEO (on-page, off-page, technical) including experience managing or mentoring a team.

Strong familiarity with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.).

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento) and how web technologies affect SEO.

Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritise tasks, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive, self-starter attitude; keen to stay current with SEO trends and evolving search landscape.

Salary up to ₹ 35,000 in-hand (depending on experience and skills).
