Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Project Management
- Lead SAP QM workstreams across full project lifecycles, including blueprinting, realization, testing, and deployment.
- Mentor, guide, and review work of junior QM consultants and cross-functional team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and project leadership for all QM-related deliverables.
Functional Expertise
- Design and configure SAP QM processes such as inspection planning, results recording, quality notifications, usage decisions, and in-process / final inspections.
- Define and implement strategies for quality control, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure integration of QM with MM, PP, WM/EWM, SD, and other cross-functional modules.
Technical & Process Integration
- Lead workshops with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Develop and review functional specifications for WRICEF objects (workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms).
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure timely and accurate development of solution components.
Quality & Compliance
- Support batch management, vendor evaluation, quality certificates, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Drive process optimization aligned with industry best practices, including digital quality and automation capabilities.
Testing & Deployment
- Oversee test planning, scenario creation, defect resolution, and UAT coordination.
- Support cutover planning, data validation, and go-live readiness.
- Provide post-production support and continuous improvement guidance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
15+ years of SAP experience
, with at least 5+ years in a lead or senior consulting role
in SAP Quality Management.- Strong configuration and integration expertise across SAP ECC QM and/or S/4HANA QM.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end SAP QM implementations.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Quality Management certification.
- Experience in regulated industries (pharma, food & beverage, automotive, chemicals, etc.).
- Exposure to advanced QM functionalities such as digital quality management, IoT-enabled inspection processes, FMEA integration, SPC, and analytics tools.
