Job Summary:

SAP MM Functional Consultant

You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement, optimize, and support SAP MM processes in line with project-based procurement and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications for SAP MM module.
• Configure and support

  Milestone Purchase Order (PO)

  functionality for project-based procurement scenarios:
• Setup of item-level milestone structures.
• Integration with service entry sheets and progress billing.
• Align PO with WBS/Project System where applicable.
• Implement and manage

  Origin Acceptance

  scenarios:
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality inspection criteria.
• Integration with quality management and logistics modules.
• Track incoming goods at origin with milestone or pre-shipment approvals.
• Handle

  Retention Process

  in SAP MM for services and contracts:
• Configure retention percentages and release procedures.
• Integration with MM-SRV (Service Management) and FI for deferred payment.
• Design and configure

  Cycle Count processes

  in Inventory Management:
• Define cycle count indicators and schedules.
• Automate count generation and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with internal control and audit requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation: Functional specs, configuration docs, test scripts.
• Support data migration and cutover activities during project go-lives.
• Provide end-user training and support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM issues and incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant.
• Strong experience with

• Good understanding of MM integration with SD, FI, PS, and QM modules.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  SAP PS (Project Systems)

  or

  SAP Ariba

  integration.
• Exposure to

  construction
