Sap Materials Management Consultant

Role Overview: You are an experienced SAP MM Consultant with a strong exposure to SAP WM (Warehouse Management). Your role involves leading and supporting SAP MM and WM module implementations, rollouts, and support projects. You will configure MM processes such as procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and invoice verification. Additionally, you will implement WM functions like putaway, picking, storage types, transfer orders, and inventory counting. It is essential for you to manage and troubleshoot issues related to stock transfers, STOs, batch management, and physical inventory. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SD, PP, and FI modules is a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will be responsible for performing unit testing, integration testing, and supporting UAT with proper documentation. Providing post-go-live support, training, and making process improvement recommendations are also part of your duties. Handling change requests and enhancements as per business requirements and creating/maintaining technical and functional documentation are critical tasks for you. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support SAP MM and WM module implementations, rollouts, and support projects - Configure MM processes such as procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and invoice verification - Implement WM functions like putaway, picking, storage types, transfer orders, and inventory counting - Manage and troubleshoot issues related to stock transfers, STOs, batch management, and physical inventory - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SD, PP, and FI modules - Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT with proper documentation - Provide post-go-live support, training, and make process improvement recommendations - Handle change requests and enhancements as per business requirements - Create/maintain technical and functional documentation Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM and WM - Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP MM/WM implementations - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and warehouse operations - Experience in SAP configuration (SPRO), LSMW, BDCs, and user exits - Exposure to S/4HANA MM and WM modules is a plus - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field - SAP MM certification preferred Note: It would be nice to have experience in Handling Unit Management (HUM), knowledge of RF-enabled transactions and IDoc monitoring, and an understanding of EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).,
