Salesforce Test Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Test Engineer to oversee testing strategy, planning, and execution for Salesforce implementations and integrations. The Test Lead will ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions by managing test teams, defining test processes, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive excellence in Salesforce projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for Salesforce projects
• Define and implement testing strategies, frameworks, and standards tailored for Salesforce environments.
• Review business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Work with a team of testers ensuring quality and timely delivery of test outcomes.
• Execute different types of testing: Functional, Regression, UAT, Integration, and Automation (where applicable).
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to resolve defects and ensure requirements are met.
• Drive automation initiatives for Salesforce testing using tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado, or similar.
• Ensure test data management, environment readiness, and defect triage processes are effectively carried out.
• Track and report on test progress, coverage, defect metrics, and overall quality status to stakeholders.
• Champion quality best practices within Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in Salesforce testing
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platforms (Sales, Service, Marketing, CPQ, Experience Cloud, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing tools (Provar, Selenium, Copado, ACCELQ, or similar).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Strong test management skills with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in managing offshore/onsite teams.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or equivalent exposure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks for Salesforce.
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, SOAP UI, etc.).
• Exposure to Data Migration and Validation testing in Salesforce.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
