Salesforce Test Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for preparing test cases and conducting testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end, ensuring it meets 100% quality assurance parameters. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the test requirements and design test cases for the product - Author test planning based on business requirements and testable requirements - Implement Wipro's way of testing using Model-based testing for efficient test generation - Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework - Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version control - Define criteria, parameters, scope/out-scope of testing, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Automate the test life cycle process through vb macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. - Design and execute the automation framework and reporting - Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing them - Report test defects with clear descriptions and replication patterns - Detect bug issues, prepare defect reports, and report test progress - Ensure no instances of rejection/slippage of delivered work items within SLA's and norms - Design and release test status dashboard at the end of every test cycle - Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks, and report to stakeholders - Maintain ongoing status reporting and customer focus with respect to testing and execution - Ensure quality interaction with customers through email content, fault report tracking, voice calls, business etiquette, etc. - Deliver on-time reports, test execution reports, and dashboard updates - Update accurate efforts in project-related trackers - Respond timely to customer requests and address complaints internally and externally Qualifications Required: - Understanding of test requirements and test case design - Experience in test planning and test case authoring - Proficiency in test automation using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. - Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers - Ability to report test progress accurately and provide feedback on usability and serviceability - Familiarity with test defect reporting and replication patterns - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and compliance Please note: Applications from people with disabilities are explicitly welcome.,
