Salesforce RCA Developer (Revenue Cloud Automation)

About the Role

Salesforce RCA Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions on

    Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing)

    .
  • Configure

    product catalog, pricing rules, discount structures, quote templates, and approval workflows

    .
  • Build and optimize

    quote-to-cash processes

    , including order management, subscription billing, amendments, and renewals.
  • Integrate Salesforce CPQ/Billing with ERP, payment gateways, and external systems as needed.
  • Develop custom Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and Flows where standard features don’t suffice.
  • Ensure compliance with

    data governance, revenue recognition policies, and audit requirements

    .
  • Work with QA and UAT teams to validate functionality, performance, and integrations.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot complex CPQ/Billing issues.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–6 years of Salesforce development experience

    , with at least

    2+ years in CPQ & Billing

    (Revenue Cloud).
  • Strong knowledge of

    Salesforce CPQ

    features (bundling, product rules, pricing, discounting, guided selling).
  • Hands-on experience with

    Salesforce Billing

    (invoice generation, payment collection, taxation, subscription management).
  • Proficiency in

    Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and Flows

    .
  • Experience in

    integrating Salesforce with ERP and financial systems

    .
  • Salesforce certifications preferred:
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
  • Salesforce Billing Specialist (or working experience)
  • Platform Developer I/II is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have

  • Exposure to

    Revenue Recognition

    and ASC 606 compliance.
  • Experience with

    Agile methodology

    and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Copado).
  • Prior experience in subscription-based or SaaS industries.
