Role Description We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead – Automation Expert with deep expertise in Java , Selenium , and automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines . You will lead a team of test automation engineers, design scalable automation strategies, and ensure delivery of high-quality, testable software in fast-paced Agile environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and reusable test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver . Architect and integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Mentor and guide automation engineers in writing maintainable and scalable test code. Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless automation coverage across all stages of SDLC. Define test strategies and ensure adequate coverage through unit, integration, UI, API, and regression testing. Own the quality metrics , test execution dashboards, and defect management across sprints/releases. Evaluate and integrate test management and reporting tools like TestNG, Allure, ExtentReports, or Cucumber. Investigate test failures and system anomalies to root cause, ensuring resolution and knowledge transfer. Drive continuous improvement in automation practices and framework scalability. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering with strong hands-on Java development. Proven expertise in Selenium WebDriver , TestNG/JUnit , and Maven/Gradle . Experience designing and building custom automation frameworks from scratch. Solid experience with CI/CD tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar. Proficiency in REST API automation using tools like RestAssured or Postman (test scripting). Strong working knowledge of source control tools (Git) and code branching strategies. Experience in containerized environments (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and testing lifecycle. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Show more Show less
