Job Summary

The Sales Team Lead is responsible for managing, guiding, and motivating a team of sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring disciplined sales execution, and maintaining strong customer relationships while directly supporting the organization’s revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of sales executives to consistently achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with revenue goals set by the CRO.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance; analyze data and share reports with senior leadership.
  • Set clear individual goals, track KPIs, and ensure accountability across the team.
  • Train and onboard new sales team members on products, pitch, and sales processes.
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively support deal closures when required.
  • Manage key customer relations and handle escalations professionally.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and internal teams to improve conversion rates and revenue.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience of at least 1 year as a Sales Team Lead or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools.
