Job Title: Sales Team Lead

Department: Sales

Location: — Calicut , Kerala

Reports To: Sales Manager


Job Summary


We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Sales Team Lead to supervise and guide the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and sales planning skills, ensuring strong team performance and consistent business growth.


Key Responsibilities


Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of sales executives to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Conduct daily/weekly team meetings to review performance, challenges, and action plans.
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to improve team productivity and sales skills.
  • Monitor sales activities and ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes.


Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
  • Oversee lead generation, follow-ups, client meetings, and conversions.
  • Track performance metrics and ensure timely reporting of sales achievements.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the assigned territory.


Client Relationship & Communication

  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and high-value clients.
  • Support team members during complex negotiations or deal closures.
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution.


Performance Monitoring

  • Analyze sales data to assess the team’s performance and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for management
  • Evaluate team performance and support HR in interviews and appraisals


Operational & Administrative Support

  • Assist in planning sales promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Ensure CRM entries, follow-ups, and documentation are consistently updated.
  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and other departments for smooth execution.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales; minimum 1 year in a team leader or supervisory role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and result-oriented.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in education or relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of local market and customer behavior.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
