Sales Support Specialist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

This role contributes to Process Automation in process industries within the India region

• Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
• Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
• Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.

• You enjoy working with technical sales, bids, and proposals for large electrification or VFD projects in the Mining, Cement, Metals, and Pulp & Paper industries.
• You have 8 to 15 years of experience in technical sales, bids, and proposals, specifically in VFD, MV, and LV drives, as well as switchgear.
• You possess advanced knowledge of technical sales and bids & proposals.
• You are passionate about customer and stakeholder management.
• You hold an engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics.
• You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
