Responsibilities: Design and develop backend systems and APIs with a strong emphasis on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps, to understand performance requirements and implement optimal solutions. Conduct performance profiling, monitoring, and tuning of our application and data bases to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Optimize data base queries and data models to enhance application responsiveness and reduce response times. Implement caching strategies and other performance-enhancing techniques to reduce database load and improve overall system performance. Continuously review and refactor existing code to ensure adherence to performance best practices and coding standards. Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues, ensuring timely resolutions to maintain a smooth user experience. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in backend technologies, performance optimization techniques, and database technologies.
