Role Overview

Sales Specialist

This is a field-intensive position. While some leads will be provided by the company, the majority must be self-generated through networking, referrals, and market research.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Independently identify, research, and generate new business opportunities.

  • Utilize networking, cold calling, referrals, and social media to build a strong client pipeline.
  • Follow up on provided leads and nurture them into conversions.
  • Client Meetings & Relationship Building

  • Conduct daily in-person meetings with potential clients (minimum 3–4 meetings/day).

  • Understand client needs, business challenges, and objectives to pitch relevant services.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Sales & Business Development

  • Present and pitch the company’s services effectively to decision-makers.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and proposals to close deals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meetings, and conversions.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, IT, content, etc.) to ensure client satisfaction and smooth project execution.
  • Market Knowledge & Strategy

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.

  • Suggest strategies to improve sales effectiveness and client engagement.


Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Client Servicing

    , preferably in Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, or IT Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong client service orientation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a field-driven, target-oriented role.
  • Added Advantage:

     Prior experience in the content marketing or IT industry.

Performance Expectations

  • Conduct 

    minimum 70-80 meetings/month

     with prospective clients.
  • Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets as defined by management.
  • Demonstrate consistent growth in client acquisition and retention.
