This is a remote position.

Do you want to help students find the right learning experience while playing a vital role in one of Australia’s fastest-growing education companies?

At Contour Education, we are looking for a driven and articulate professional to connect prospective students with the support they need.

You will be the first point of contact for future learners, guiding them through their decision-making journey, answering questions, and helping them take the next step toward enrolling at Contour.

This is a communication-focused role where you will manage written and text-based conversations with students and parents, ensuring that every interaction is clear, confident, and supportive.

You will not make outbound cold calls. All communication will be warm and conducted through channels such as email, text, and internal messaging systems.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales acumen, exceptional written English, and a service-first mindset. You will thrive if you are detail-oriented, empathetic, and take pride in helping students make informed decisions.

What You Will Do

You will be part of the Sales Team that helps students and parents begin their journey with Contour.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective students, responding promptly and professionally through written communication channels such as email, text, and CRM.
  • Build trust and relationships with students and parents through thoughtful, empathetic, and informative interactions.
  • Follow up with students or parents who have shown interest in trial lessons to help them complete their enrolment.
  • Conduct basic needs analysis to understand each student’s goals and recommend suitable programs.
  • Apply consultative communication and objection-handling techniques to drive enrolments.
  • Communicate the benefits of Contour’s programs clearly and persuasively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth student handoffs and a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate lead tracking in Missive, Podium, or CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed monthly enrolment and conversion targets.
  • Suggest improvements in communication and follow-up processes to strengthen conversion and engagement.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

Must - Haves

  • 2 4 years of experience in B2C or high-volume premium B2B sales roles.
  • Experience with email and text-based sales communication.
  • Familiarity with short sales cycles and high daily lead volumes.
  • Strong written English, grammar, and comprehension skills.
  • Awareness of differences between American and Australian spelling and tone.
  • Experience communicating with Asian markets.
  • Proven ability to conduct consultative sales conversations, including needs analysis and objection handling.

Nice - to - Haves

  • Experience in education, EdTech, or student-facing services.
  • Exposure to sales communication or personality development training.
  • Experience collaborating with international or multi-market teams.
  • Comfort using tools such as Missive, Podium, HubSpot, or similar CRM systems.
