About the Role


We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive the onboarding of vendors and clients who want to sell their products on leading e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho. In this role, you will identify potential sellers, pitch our services, and help them start their online journey. Once onboarded, our internal team will handle their account management, product listing, and operations. Your primary responsibility is to grow our vendor network and generate business through strong relationship-building and market outreach.


Key Responsibilities


1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

 Identify potential vendors, manufacturers, wholesalers, and brands interested in online selling.

 Conduct market research to understand high-demand categories.

 Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, digital outreach, and networking.


2. Vendor/Client Acquisition

 Explain the benefits of selling on e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho).

 Pitch our company’s services including:

o Product listing & catalog management

o Account creation & verification

o Daily account management

o Growth & marketing strategies

 Convert prospects to active clients.


3. Onboarding & Coordination

 Assist new vendors with: o Documentation o Tax/Bank/Compliance requirements

o Account creation

 Coordinate with internal teams for seamless onboarding.


4. Relationship Building

 Maintain long-term relationships with clients.

 Act as the first point of contact for any business queries (pre-onboarding).

 Conduct periodic follow-ups with potential clients.


5. Sales & Revenue Targets

 Achieve monthly onboarding targets.

 Contribute directly to business revenue through service package sales.

 Upsell additional services (ads, catalog upgrades, image editing, etc.).


6. Reporting & Documentation

 Maintain records of leads, prospects, onboarded vendors, and sales numbers.

 Submit daily/weekly activity reports to the Business Head.

 Track competitor activities & market trends. Required Skills & Qualifications Educational Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related fields.


Skills

 Strong communication & negotiation skills

 Basic understanding of Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho seller portals

 Ability to present and explain technical services in simple terms

 Good networking and persuasion abilities

 Comfortable with field visits (if required)

 MS-Excel / CRM knowledge preferred Experience

 0–3 years of experience in Business Development / Sales

 Experience in E-commerce seller onboarding, SPN services, or digital marketing will be an advantage
