Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Mumbai Sales Team for Container Freight Station (CFS) and other logistics services. This role will play a pivotal part in driving sales and enhancing customer relationships across various units, including Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Warehousing, First Mile & Last Mile (FMLM), and new services introduced by the organization.


Job Purpose

As a key member of the Mumbai Sales Team, you will support, manage, plan, and execute organizational sales to meet customer expectations and drive business growth. The role focuses on increasing container volume for Imports (BCOs, CHAs, Forwarders) and Exports (Factory & Dock Stuffing) while collaborating with teams across Operations, Finance, Accounts, Freight Forwarding, Transport, Warehousing, FMLM, IT, and other panel CFSs.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expand market reach for the organization through effective sales strategies.
  • Drive sales development, lead generation, and relationship building.
  • Develop and implement successful sales strategies, including proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Maximize revenue by converting business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
  • Analyze sales gaps to ensure volume retention.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations to the reporting manager.
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related targets.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.


Experience

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industry.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Arts.
  • Preferred: Management in Marketing.


Skill Requirements

  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Prior experience in the logistics industry is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

  • Enhance value for existing and new customers through services including, but not limited to, CFS, Transportation, Ocean Freight, and Warehousing.
