As we expand our footprint in Mumbai / Thane region, we are seeking a Sales Manager to spearhead sales efforts and accelerate growth.
Role Summary
You will own the complete sales lifecycle — from lead generation to deal closure — for SAP/ERP services. Your goal will be to expand our client base, build long-term relationships, and contribute to revenue growth while ensuring seamless coordination between sales and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for SAP/ERP offerings—including implementation, support, customizations, mobility, consulting, and resourcing—to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
• Prospect and generate new business leads; reach out to potential clients, understand their business needs, and present tailored SAP/ERP solutions.
• Conduct product/service presentations, demos (if applicable), negotiate commercial terms, and close sales deals.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients — from SMEs to large enterprises — engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels (decision-makers, management).
• Coordinate with internal technical/consulting/delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and client satisfaction post-sale.
• Maintain and manage sales pipeline, track leads and opportunities, prepare sales forecasts, and report performance and projections to senior management
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments; adapt sales strategies to stay competitive and deliver value-based solutions.
• Achieve or exceed defined sales targets; contribute to business growth and support any junior sales/support resources if assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in SAP / ERP / IT-software / solution-selling, preferably enterprise or mid-size level sales.
• Demonstrated track record of closing deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets / quotas.
• Strong knowledge / understanding of SAP / ERP products, modules, services (implementation, support, customization, mobility, consulting) — or ability to quickly grasp these concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with senior management / decision-makers.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, result-oriented, with ability to work independently; strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to handle multiple sales cycles concurrently.
• Business acumen — ability to understand client’s business needs and propose value-based ERP solutions tailored to their requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree (engineering / business / IT / relevant). MBA or similar postgraduate qualification would be a plus (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ready for immediate joining or within 30 days’ notice.
