Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead and manage our internal sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, proven experience in building high-performance sales teams, and the ability to drive revenue growth through clear planning, performance management, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the internal sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
  • Performance & Execution
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development sessions for the team.
  • Identify gaps and optimize the sales funnel and conversion strategies.
  • Process & Operations
  • Build and enforce strong internal sales processes and reporting structures.
  • Coordinate with marketing, customer support, and operations teams for lead flow and customer experience.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, CRM updates, and data accuracy across the sales cycle.
  • Recruitment & Team Development
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit top talent for the sales team.
  • Design and implement onboarding and continuous training programs.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity and adjust strategy as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing internal sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools and data-driven sales approaches.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in EdTech / SaaS / B2B sales (customize based on your industry).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets and scaling teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
