Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager Sales Location: Mumbai Travel: Domestic Travel Experience: 4+ years in consultative sales or business development Preferred Industry Focus: FMCG, BFSI, Agro & FMCD Preferred Background: Candidates with sales experience in one or more of the following will be highly preferred: BTL/Experiential Marketing Agencies Digital Marketing/Performance Firms SaaS Platforms in Loyalty or CRM Channel or Trade Marketing Consultancies Key Responsibilities: Establish first contact, nurture relationships with key decision-makers, and support closure of strategic, revenue-generating deals Identify and engage potential clients across FMCG, FMCD, BFSI & Agro. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive closures Understand client needs through market research and translate insights into actionable, solution-focused briefs Drive new opportunities via referrals, networks, and proactive outreach to grow the business pipeline Own the full sales process—from pitch to closure—including negotiations and structuring complex deals Manage existing accounts to maximize revenue, drive upsells, and ensure long-term satisfaction Coordinate with internal teams for proposal creation, presentations, and execution alignment Qualifications & Characteristics: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce; an MBA in Marketing is an advantage Minimum of 4 years in B2B consultative sales or business development roles Demonstrated success in client acquisition and closing high-value deals, especially in FMCG or allied sectors Familiarity with sales to multi-stakeholder decision-making environments. Strong negotiation, storytelling, and proposal writing skills High energy, dependable, detail-oriented, and excellent verbal/written communication Knowledge of FMCG ecosystems including trade channels, consumer behaviour, and anti counterfeit regulations Prior experience in Loyalty, Brand Rewards, or Consumer Engagement platforms is a strong advantage Preferred Industry Experience: Marketing Agencies specializing in Below-the-Line (BTL) Activities Digital Marketing Firms SaaS Companies providing Loyalty and CRM Solutions Consultancies specializing in Channel and Trade Marketing
