About the Role:-
We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Manager with proven experience in selling API-based solutions to B2B clients. This role requires a strong understanding of the API ecosystem, integration processes, and business use cases across various sectors, including Banking, Travel, Fintech, and Enterprise SaaS. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with sales expertise to drive growth and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:-
Identify and close new B2B opportunities for API-driven products and platforms.
Understand and communicate complex API solutions, data flows, and integration processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work closely with Product and Tech teams to translate customer needs into tailored solutions.
Engage with key stakeholders, including Product Heads, IT Teams, and Business Owners.
Lead client meetings, demos, product walk-throughs, and technical discussions.
Manage the complete sales cycle – from prospecting and needs analysis to negotiation and closure.
Build strategic partnerships in Banking, Travel, Insurance, and emerging API-first industries.
Maintain and update sales pipeline, reports, and forecasts in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings in the API space.
Required Qualifications & Skills:-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in B2B sales in API-led products or platforms.
Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, Webhook, API documentation (Swagger/Postman), and integration models.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to articulate technical concepts in simple business terms.
Excellent communication, client handling, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Industry Experience:-
API Sales in Banking/Fintech (Lending APIs, KYC, Payments, etc.)
Nice to Have:-
Experience working with developer teams and solution architects.
Prior exposure to marketplaces, API aggregators, or API monetization models.
