About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our sales team and drive significant growth in the solar energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the solar industry, and a passion for renewable energy. This role requires frequent travel across South India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue and market share goals.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government tenders and private sector projects.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Revenue Generation: Directly contribute to revenue generation through strategic sales initiatives.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
  • Performance Management: Set and track sales targets, analyze sales performance, and implement corrective actions.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Industry Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and associations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the solar energy industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the solar energy market, products, and technologies.
  • Ability to travel frequently within South India.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
