Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for hospital services (in-patient, out-patient, diagnostics, wellness packages, etc.).
  • Identify new business opportunities including corporate tie-ups, insurance partnerships, government contracts, etc.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to position hospital offerings effectively.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular team reviews and provide coaching for skill development.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, corporate clients, TPAs, insurance companies, and government bodies.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and patient experience through seamless communication with internal departments.
  • Handle key accounts and high-value clients personally.
  • Revenue Growth & Budgeting:
  • Meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets for the hospital.
  • Prepare and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Track sales performance and generate regular reports for management.
  • Marketing & Outreach Support:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns, health camps, and digital outreach.
  • Represent the hospital at industry events, medical conferences, and community health programs.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA in Healthcare Management or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience in the hospital/healthcare industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of hospital services, patient acquisition channels, healthcare regulations, and insurance processes.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
