Job Summary

The Senior Sales Executive (Doors) is responsible for achieving sales targets with profitability in line with management expectations. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and create actionable plans.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, contractors, architects, and builders.
  • Identify potential clients, engage in business development activities, and convert leads into customers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms while ensuring profitability.

3. Sales Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of sales metrics, budgets, and expenses.

4. Customer Satisfaction & After-Sales Service

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing needs, resolving complaints, and handling issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and optimal customer service.

5. Product Knowledge & Training

  • Stay updated on product specifications, market trends, and innovations in the building materials sector.
  • Provide training and guidance to the sales team on new products, technical details, and effective selling techniques.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in building materials or construction.
  • Leadership experience is an added advantage.

Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of building material products (cement, steel, tiles, aggregates, doors, etc.) and the construction market.

  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Telugu
