The Admission Counselor is responsible for managing the complete admission lifecycle - counseling, follow-ups, conversions, and enrollment. This is a target-driven role with strong incentives. The position does not involve lead generation; all leads are provided by the organization. The emphasis is on effective engagement, accurate guidance, and high conversion rates.
Engage with prospective students and parents through calls, walk-ins, emails, and digital channels.
Conduct structured counseling sessions to understand academic goals and recommend suitable programs.
Provide accurate information on curriculum, fee structure, eligibility criteria, and admission timelines.
Maintain systematic follow-ups to ensure efficient lead nurturing and conversion.
Guide students through the entire application and enrollment process.
Verify all required documents and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines.
Coordinate entrance tests, interviews, and orientation activities.
Maintain accurate, updated records in the CRM and admissions systems.
Optimize the given lead pool to maximize conversion opportunities.
Prepare regular reports on lead status, follow-ups, and conversion performance.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
1–3 years in admissions counseling, inside sales, customer engagement, or education sector roles.
Experience in target-driven sales environments preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
Demonstrated capability to influence decisions and convert inquiries into enrollments.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and documentation processes.
Strong organizational discipline and time management.
