Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven and technically sound Sales Professional to manage and grow the domestic sales of raw materials catering to the Rubber, Plastics, and Paint industries. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, proven sales experience, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships across manufacturing sectors. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for raw materials in the Rubber, Plastics, and Paint industries.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through market research and networking.
  • Manage existing customer accounts, ensuring timely service, satisfaction, and repeat business.  
  • Conduct technical discussions and product presentations to clients, addressing specific application needs.
  • Collaborate with the technical and R&D teams to ensure product fit and resolve any technical queries. 
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies and targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive growth. 
  • Ensure timely order processing, dispatch coordination, and payment follow-ups. 
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review. 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field. An MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
  • 5–6 years of B2B sales experience in raw materials for the Rubber, Plastics, or Paint industries. 
  • Strong understanding of product applications, formulations, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and expanding market share. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Willingness to travel across domestic locations for client meetings and market development. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.


Preferred Skills:

  • Technical knowledge of additives, resins, pigments, fillers, elastomers, etc.
  • Existing network of clients in the Rubber, Plastics, or Paint sectors. 
  • Exposure to both direct sales and channel/distributor management.
