Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer located in Pune. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to customers, assisting with sales processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Daily tasks will include engaging with clients to understand their requirements, delivering product demonstrations, and offering tailored solutions. The role involves closely working with the sales team to drive business growth and maintain strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibility

Develop a thorough understanding of company products and solutions.

Identify and engage with potential customers through field visits, calls, and online platforms.

Provide technical support during the pre-sales process and help prepare proposals and quotations.

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer requirements.

Work closely with the engineering team to deliver customer feedback and ensure successful implementation.

Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and documentation.

Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.

Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and online sales platforms.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Prior experience in a technical sales or business development role
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus
