Sales Engineer

As a Lighting Protocol Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated tools to program, configure, and commission lighting devices across various industry standards and protocols such as DALI, DMX, Zigbee, Bluetooth Mesh, and RF. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive automated test frameworks for functional, performance, reliability, and interoperability testing of lighting products. - Automating the testing of lighting parameters including dimming curves, color temperature control, light output, flicker, and sensor response. - Diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to lighting protocol communication, device interaction, and automation script failures. - Acting as the primary liaison for clients, lighting consultants, and contractors to ensure clear communication and foster strong relationships. - Conducting regular client meetings, site visits, and progress reviews to keep all parties informed and aligned. - Prioritizing client satisfaction through timely project delivery, stringent quality assurance, and proactive communication. - Seamlessly coordinating with design, technical, and installation teams to guarantee smooth project execution. - Ensuring strict adherence to project schedules and efficiently resolving any operational challenges that arise. - Understanding and accurately interpreting automation system schematics and Bills of Quantities. - Maintaining comprehensive project documentation including detailed reports, logs, and records. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in automation programming, with a significant focus on lighting systems and protocols. - Knowledge of electrical drawings, system integration, and experience in automating tasks involving lighting communication protocols such as DALI-2/D4i, Bluetooth Mesh, and DMX. - Good stakeholders management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
