Job Title : Lighting Project Engineer Role Overview: LEDFlex Group was established in 2010 after identifying a gap in the market for a more comprehensive range of linear lighting products and has now grown into a leading technology supplier. We design, develop and manufacture LED lighting solutions for the UK and International markets. We are seeking a Lighting Technical Engineer to assist in designing, planning, and executing lighting projects. You will work closely with senior engineers, clients, and contractors to deliver efficient, high-quality lighting solutions that meet performance standards and client expectations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, technical challenges, and contributing to cutting-edge projects. Roles and Responsibilities: 1) Design & Planning: Develop detailed lighting designs, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software. Assist in preparing and revising Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on feedback. 2) Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to LED drivers, control systems (DALI, DMX) , and wiring configurations. Perform system testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance standards and specifications. 3) Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, progress reports, and technical specifications. 4)Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Provide technical expertise and support during all project phases, from planning to installation and commissioning. Technical Skills: Fundamental understanding of lighting systems, including LED technology , control protocols (DALI, DMX) , and circuitry . Practical experience with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes . Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and calculations. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering , Electronics Engineering , or a related field (Polytechnic graduates are encouraged to apply). Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Lighting Project Engineer or in a similar role. Experience in the Lighting or Electrical industry is essential. Video Deep Learning Engineer Job Description: We are currently looking for bright Video Deep learning talent who have 4-5 years of industry experience, working on problems related to the Video AI space. The ideal candidate will be proficient in implementing and optimizing ML/DL/AI models, particularly for video and image processing, while also having a deep understanding of encoding and decoding algorithms. If you are passionate about advancing multimedia technologies and have hands-on experience with deep learning and video compression standards, we encourage you to apply. As part of our team, you will work on cutting-edge projects in video and image compression, activity detection, object detection, and related areas. You will be responsible for implementing, tuning, and evaluating ML/DL models h, optimizing performance, and applying your expertise in compression algorithms to improve encoding/decoding efficiency. Minimum Qualifications: Strong C++ programming skills (C++11 & above, STL) Execution of ML/DL/AI models on PyTorch or any other FraMework, loss and performance analysis, regression tracking Good understanding of Deep Learning concepts (model parameters, tuning of models, optimizers, learning rates, attention mechanisms, masking etc). Thorough understanding of deep learning implementations of activity detection or object detection. Expertise in video and image compression standards (such as H.264, HEVC, AV1, JPEG) and relevant encoding/decoding algorithms. Proficiency in using quality metrics such as SSIM, PSNR to evaluate encoding/decoding performance. Experience with hardware acceleration techniques in multimedia processing is a plus Expertise in numeric analysis, loss/accuracy, and performance debug in validation environment Solid development experience (git, cmake, gdb, strace, shell, etc.) in Unix-like (Linux) environment. The candidate must be able to identify and debug system issues Proficiency in Version control tools like GIT, GITlab, Gerrit Reviews Experience with the Agile/Scrum processes through the entire SDLC: software design, coding, unit test, integration test, build and release. Preferred Qualifications: Good Understanding of DALI / FFMPEG / gstreamer encoding, decoding and pre-processing functions. Knowledge of deployment tools like Triton inference server or Ray is a plus.
