Position Overview:

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in the electrical panels and automation sector. This role will focus on selling electrical panels, associated control systems, and automation products, along with preparing accurate costings and technical proposals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and automation, combined with the ability to assess client requirements, develop proposals, and negotiate successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development:

• Actively generate new business opportunities for electrical panels and automation systems.
• Identify potential clients and understand their electrical and automation needs.
• Develop sales strategies and implement them to drive revenue growth in electrical panel sales and automation projects.
• Present and promote electrical panels, automation systems, and related solutions to potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with customers, ensuring alignment with both client needs and company goals.

• Costing & Proposal Preparation:

• Create detailed technical proposals and cost estimates based on client requirements and specifications.
• Perform costing for electrical panels, automation systems, and related services, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and meet client needs.
• Provide clear and concise documentation to clients, outlining project scope, timelines, and technical details.

• Customer Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and follow-up during the entire sales process and after installation.
• Act as a primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, offering technical expertise and solution-based selling.

• Market Analysis & Reporting:

• Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to ensure our products are positioned effectively.
• Track sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and report regularly on performance to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development, specifically in the electrical panel and automation industry.
• Strong experience in preparing costings, quotations, and proposals for electrical panel and automation solutions.

• Technical Skills:

• Solid knowledge of electrical panel systems, control panels, PLCs, automation technologies, and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical panels and automation.

• Sales & Proposal Skills:

• Strong ability to understand customer requirements and develop custom solutions.
• Proficient in generating cost estimates and managing pricing for technical solutions.
• Ability to create clear, persuasive proposals, including technical documentation and cost breakdowns.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions and team collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Results-driven with the ability to work independently and within a team.

• Other:

• Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
