As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and technically sound Sales Engineer who can bridge the gap between customer needs and technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with excellent communication and relationship-building skills to drive business growth.

Role Overview

The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in identifying business opportunities, engaging with clients, and providing technically sound and commercially viable solutions. This role involves working closely with the presales, design, and project teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in AV, ELV, and IT infrastructure domains.
  • Generate leads through market research, client meetings, and networking.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.

Client Relationship Management

  • Engage with clients to understand their technical and operational requirements.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, consultants, and vendors.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Technical Coordination

  • Ensure all proposed solutions meet technical specifications, compliance, and budget.
  • Participate in site visits, demonstrations, and client meetings to address technical queries.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and project pipelines.
  • Provide timely updates and forecasts to management on sales performance and opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communication Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in technical sales within ELV, AV, or IT infrastructure industries.
  • Strong understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Networking, Intercom, and PA systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into customer value propositions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office , MS Excel and CRM tools.
  • Must be self-driven, target-oriented, and customer-focused.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in solution-based selling or project-based sales (B2B).
  • Familiarity with the Kerala market and local client base.
