Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Development Specialist at Hypha, you will be instrumental in fueling our growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities and establishing initial contact with potential clients. Your role will focus on qualifying leads at the top of the sales funnel, setting the stage for deeper engagement by the sales team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator, adept at using persuasive engagement strategies to pique the interest of potential clients and effectively articulate Hypha’s value proposition. Candidate with internships in Sales and Marketing will also be preferred for this role. Key Responsibilities: Proactively generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities. Contact potential clients through direct outreach to gauge interest and introduce Hypha’s offerings. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales Executives. Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects. Assist with the organization of sales presentations and meetings. Ensure CRM systems are meticulously updated with interaction details and status changes. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to identify effective strategies for attracting and qualifying leads. Minimum Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging potential clients effectively. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Demonstrated ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Eagerness to learn about new products and technology that impact the healthcare industry. Willingness to occassional travel as needed for client meetings and industry events. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a business development or lead qualification role, preferably within the healthcare technology sector. Proficient in using CRM software, with a preference for Zoho, to track and analyze lead activity. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
