Traqo.ai is a logistics technology platform enabling companies to track shipments, automate workflows, optimize fleet operations, and improve supply chain efficiency. As we expand across Africa, we are looking for a motivated and high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR/BDR) to lead our business development efforts in Kenya.
Role Description
We are seeking a proactive salesperson who can identify potential customers, generate leads, build strong business relationships, and support overall market expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills, knowledge of the Kenyan logistics ecosystem, and the ability to confidently present Traqo’s products to enterprises, transporters, and SMEs.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads across logistics, manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, distribution, and transport sectors
Conduct outbound outreach through calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, and field visits
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for the Kenya region
Pitch Traqo’s logistics-tech solutions and deliver discovery calls, demos, and lead qualification
Understand customer challenges and recommend the right solutions
Develop partnerships with transporters, logistics aggregators, and industry networks
Maintain consistent communication with prospects and support onboarding for new customers
Represent Traqo at local events and industry interactions
Update CRM daily, manage sales funnel, and provide weekly reports & market insights
Collaborate closely with India HQ sales, marketing, and product teams for alignment
Qualifications
1- 4 years of experience in Sales, SDR/BDR, Business Development, or Field Sales.
Experience in Logistics, SaaS, Transport Tech, or Supply Chain is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills (English).
Good understanding of Kenya’s transportation & logistics landscape.
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
