Job Description

As a Sales and Marketing Consultant at 1Fi, you will be instrumental in driving customer acquisition, brand positioning, and revenue growth. Working closely with the founder(s), your role will involve developing and implementing go-to-market strategies, lead generation campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives within the fintech sector. Your success in this position will rely on a blend of strategic planning, hands-on execution, and a comprehensive understanding of fintech marketing and sales dynamics. Your primary responsibilities will include devising and executing sales and marketing strategies to foster business expansion, nurturing relationships with small business proprietors, financial advisors, and distribution partners, and spearheading various digital marketing endeavors such as performance marketing, SEO, social media, and content marketing. Additionally, you will be tasked with refining customer acquisition funnels through data-driven insights, exploring and establishing partnerships to broaden market reach, and ensuring synergy between marketing endeavors and product functionalities by collaborating closely with product and tech teams. Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of strategies and making necessary adjustments will also fall under your purview. To excel in this role, you should possess 5-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the fintech, financial services, or lending domains. A robust understanding of investment platforms, mutual funds, lending, and financial services is essential, alongside a track record of success in B2B or B2C sales, lead generation, and performance marketing. Your ability to conceptualize and implement impactful marketing campaigns with measurable returns, along with exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, will be crucial. An entrepreneurial spirit geared towards scaling fintech startups, coupled with a solid educational background from reputable institutions, ideally with an MBA, will be advantageous. Prior involvement in startups or the fintech industry will be a valuable asset in this role.,
