SUMMARY
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team in a remote capacity. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing processes, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting seamless interdepartmental collaboration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and driving accuracy in financial reporting. With flexibility to work extended shifts during peak periods such as book closures, this position plays a key role in upholding financial transparency and operational efficiency across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex reconciliations including Balance Sheet, Internal Company, Fixed Asset, and Deferred Account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including month-end adjustments, accruals, and other critical financial close activities.
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and Cash Flow Statement with strong attention to detail.
  • Prepare wire requests for all intercompany transactions to ensure timely and accurate fund movements.
  • Lead the preparation and review of accruals for Accounts Payable invoices in support of month-end close.
  • Collaborate with AP, AR, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for reconciliations and reporting.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Deliver clear, accurate, and timely financial reports and documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and audit readiness standards.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with proven experience in financial reporting and month-end close.
  • Proven ability to handle complex reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
  • Experience in preparing accruals, adjustments, and journal entries in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional interaction.
  • Proficient in financial reporting and documentation processes.
  • Flexible to work shifts from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST during regular days, with potential extension during book closure periods.
  • Willingness to work remotely from BLR / MLR / HYD / KOL locations.
