Purpose Of The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dotnet Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade web and desktop applications. This role requires strong technical proficiency in Microsoft technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate functional specifications into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Maintenance :

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust ASP.Net web applications and Windows applications.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, triggers, views, indexes, and performance tuning.
  • Integrate applications with IIS, MS Web Services, and third-party systems.

Solution Design & Documentation

  • Understand and analyze Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and translate them into detailed Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
  • Collaborate with architects and senior developers to ensure alignment with enterprise design principles.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Design and generate reports using Crystal Reports and SSRS to support business requirements.
  • Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy.

Quality & Best Practices

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance best practices.
  • Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
  • Provide application support, troubleshoot issues, and implement bug fixes.
  • Participate in client interactions to understand requirements and present solutions.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in ASP.Net (Web Forms, MVC, Core) and Windows applications development.
  • Proficiency in C#, LINQ, and object-oriented programming.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server (SPs, Triggers, Views, Indexes, Query Optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with IIS configuration and MS Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Experience with Crystal Reports and SSRS for report development.
  • Exposure to ERP systems or enterprise-grade applications.
  • Understanding of solution architecture, system design, and integration concepts.

Preferred Skills (Good To Have)

  • Experience with .NET Core and modern frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework or other ORM tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to Azure Cloud Services or other cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React) for full-stack capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Microsoft certifications in .NET, SQL Server, or Azure will be an added advantage.
