Department: Sales & Marketing / Commercial Reporting To: General Manager / Director – Sales & Revenue 🎯 Job PurposeTo maximize overall hotel/resort revenue and profitability through effective pricing, forecasting, channel management, market analysis, and inventory control while ensuring optimal business mix and high-yield performance. 🔑 Key Responsibilities 1️⃣ Revenue Strategy & PricingDevelop, implement, and monitor revenue management strategies to achieve RevPAR, ARR/ADR, GOP and occupancy targets. Set dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, competition, seasonality, and market trends. Optimize room, banquet, event space, and ancillary revenue streams. Monitor OTA, corporate, travel agent, wedding, and MICE pricing parity. 2️⃣ Forecasting & ReportingPrepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly demand forecasts. Track pickup, pace reports, on-books, and business channel contributions. Maintain dashboards and share business insights with management. Present weekly Revenue Strategy Meeting insights with data-led recommendations. 3️⃣ Distribution & Channel ManagementManage and optimize all booking channels (Website, OTAs, GDS, wholesalers, DMCs, travel partners). Ensure rate parity, availability, and restriction management (LOS, BAR, close-out, blackout dates). Coordinate with digital team for website offers, promotions & direct booking strategy. 4️⃣ Data Analytics & Market IntelligenceAnalyse competitor pricing, demand indicators, market events, and seasonality. Use BI tools, PMS & RMS reports for informed decision-making. Track conversion rates, cancellation patterns, lead time & segmentation performance. 5️⃣ Collaboration & Cross-Functional SupportWork closely with Sales, Front Office, Reservations, Marketing & Finance teams. Participate in budgeting, business planning and promotional campaigns. Provide training to reservations/sales teams on rate structure & selling priorities. 📊 KPIs / Success MetricsRevPAR growth vs. budget and competition ADR improvement Occupancy efficiency Direct booking share increase Channel profitability optimization Reduction in last-minute discounting & cancellations 👤 Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical & numerical ability Excellent knowledge of PMS, RMS, CRS & channel managers Expertise in Excel, analytics dashboards and revenue tools Strategic decision-making & communication skills Market awareness & commercial mindset High attention to detail and forecasting accuracy 🎓 Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or related field 3–6 years experience in Reservations/Front Office/Revenue domain Prior experience in hotel or resort revenue management systems essential
