Role Overview :-

The Revenue Assurance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and safeguarding the organization’s revenue streams. The role focuses on identifying and preventing revenue leakage, ensuring compliance with finance and accounting processes, supporting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Finance, Technical, IT, and Business) to optimize revenue flow and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities :-

1. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with finance and accounting standards by examining and analyzing reports, operating practices, and documentation.
• Recommend improvements to strengthen the internal control framework.

2. Revenue Flow & Leakage Management

• Develop a strong understanding of the network and revenue flow structure for all B2B data products.
• Identify, quantify, and report revenue leakage with actionable solutions for stakeholders.

3. Audit Management

• Handle Revenue Assurance audits conducted by internal/external auditors.
• Focus on mitigating exceptions reported in earlier audits and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with technical, IT, and business teams to resolve issues and support new project implementations.
• Contribute to digitization initiatives to minimize manual interventions.
• Technology & Innovation
• Leverage digital technologies such as Mobility, Cloud, Data Analytics, Insights, IoT, AI/ML, and reporting platforms like Power BI for revenue assurance processes.
• Drive automation and innovation in revenue assurance workflows.
• Agile Practices
• Apply knowledge of Agile development practices (Scrum), tools, and methodologies to manage tasks efficiently.

Desired Skills & Competencies :-

• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and revenue flow processes (preferably in telecom, IT, or B2B services).
• Hands-on experience with data analytics, reporting tools (Power BI, SQL, Excel), and automation.
• Excellent understanding of audit processes and risk management frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive issue closure.
• Exposure to AI/ML, IoT, and cloud-based platforms is a plus.

Educational Qualification :-

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Additional certifications in Revenue Assurance, Risk Management, or Data Analytics are an advantage.
