Retail Store Manager

Kings Young (ELL) is a fast-growing fashion retail brand based in Chennai, offering trendy and affordable apparel across multiple stores. We take pride in delivering exceptional customer experience and maintaining the highest standards of presentation and service.

We are looking for a passionate and result-driven Retail Store Manager to lead one of our stores and drive both team performance and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to SOPs.
• Lead, train, and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure proper visual merchandising, product display, and stock arrangement as per brand guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse/HO for replenishment or returns.
• Manage store sales performance, daily reporting, and achievement of monthly KPIs.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
• Ensure staff grooming, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
• Conduct regular store audits on cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
• Plan and execute promotional activities, discounts, and in-store events.
• Collaborate with HR and management on staffing, scheduling, and performance appraisals.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail store management (fashion/apparel preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Customer-focused approach with good problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of sales reporting, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
• Proficiency in MS Office / POS systems.
• Flexible to work on weekends and retail hours.
• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
